I've finally done it!

For quite some time now I've wanted to create a blog that is serious, useful, interesting and informative. What would such a blog be about?

Today it hit me.  Talk about things you're passionate about and you can't go wrong.

So, while nobody on earth will probably read this first post for awhile, I hope that by time this is read I have a following interested in the topics found here.

What will those topics be? Like I said, things I am passionate about.  That will include all things Political, LGBT and San Francisco related.

If you are an ultra-Right-Wing person you will find my postings abrasive and I hope that if/when you post things here you do so without talking-points and that encourages useful debate. I am not perfect, I am not always right and I have my own world views created by the experiences in my life, as do you. I'd rather find a common ground than start mud slinging. However, as abrasive as they may appear, I will never post anything that is not a fact.

To everyone reading this, pull up a chair, get a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and settle down to read and participate.
