"I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!"

Those of you my age, a certain age and older, remember the movie Network and that famous quote. Yet, do you know what he was mad as hell about?

This movie was about the transition of News from the News department to the Entertainment department of Television Networks.  He was mad because the News was no longer based in facts but, rather, spin and entertainment.

The movie was a harbinger of the world we live in today.  A world of extreme misinformation mostly at the hands of outlets such as Fox News.  As such, the majority of Americans have absolutely no idea what the truth is and that makes these networks very dangerous.

The majority of Americans think their taxes were raised by President Obama and other falsehoods.  These findings were found in this wonderful report.  I encourage you to read it and comment.
